The Indian Air Force has announced the recruitment for Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027. The online applications will be accepted starting from 06 July 2026.

Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification

The age limits and qualifications for various posts are as follows.

Age Limit for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027: Candidates born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 are eligible.
Upper Age Limit for enrolment: 22 years.
Age Limit for Airmen Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant (10+2): Candidates born between 01 July 2006 and 01 July 2010 are eligible.
For Medical Assistant candidates with Diploma/B. Pharma/B.Sc in Pharmacy:

Unmarried candidates: Born between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2008.
Married candidates: Born between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2006.

Post Name: Airmen Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant (10+2) - Qualification: 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Post Name: Airmen Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant (Pharmacist) - Qualification: 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English and Diploma/ B. Pharma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.
Post Name: Agniveervayu (Science Subjects) - Qualification: 12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR Three Years Diploma in Engineering.
Post Name: Agniveervayu (Other Than Science Subjects) - Qualification: 12th Pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
