The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has announced the recruitment for various posts under Advertisement No. 12 of 2026. A total of 70 vacancies are available for positions such as Clerk, Driver, Translator, and Field Artist.

Application Fees
The application fees for different categories are specified below:
- UR / General: Rs. 1000/-
- SC / BC / EWS: Rs. 250/-
- ESM / Dependent: Rs. 200/-
- PWD: Rs. 500/-

Age Limit, Vacancy Details, and Qualification
The age limit and qualifications for the posts are as follows:
- Age Limit: 18-37 Years (cutoff date: 01.01.2026)
- Driver: 5 vacancies, Qualification: Matriculation + Valid Driving License (LMV/HMV) + 3 Years Driving Experience
- Clerk (Legal): 16 vacancies, Qualification: Law Graduation + English & Punjabi Typing Test (30 wpm)
- Clerk (Accounts): 34 vacancies, Qualification: Graduation in Commerce or Degree with Statistics/Maths/Accounts + English & Punjabi Typing Test (30 wpm)
- Clerk (IT): 12 vacancies, Qualification: Degree in Computer Application/IT/Computer Science/B.Tech or equivalent + English & Punjabi Typing Test (30 wpm)
- Translator: 2 vacancies, Qualification: Graduation + 120 Hours Computer Course / ‘O’ Level Certificate
- Field Artist: 1 vacancy, Qualification: Graduation in Music, Drama, or Dance

Pay Scale Details
The pay scales for the respective posts are as follows:
- Driver: Rs. 21,700 – 69,100 (Level 3)
- Clerk (Legal) / Clerk (Accounts) / Clerk (IT) / Translator: Rs. 19,900 (Level 2 / Level 5 as per Department Rules)
- Field Artist: Rs. 25,500 (Level 4)
Exam Pattern
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Written Exam (MCQ – Part A Qualifying Punjabi Test & Part B Subject/General Merit)
- Typing Test (Punjabi in Raavi Font & English at 30 wpm – applicable for Clerk posts)
- Document Verification / Counseling
- Medical Examination
